Rivals Yoo Jaesuk and Kang Hodong are having a showdown every Saturday night.
According to TNS Media Korea, Infinity Challenge and Star King, both of which air at the same time, received viewer count of 16.6% and 16.2% respectively. It’s safe to say that they have almost the same amount of viewers even though Infinity Challenge is a small step ahead of Star King.
Infinity Challenge has held the highest viewer count as a Saturday night variety show for a long time. However, while its popularity was waning, Kang Hodong’s Star King climbed ranks as Saturday night entertainment. Ever since, the two shows have been competing for the top.
On the other hand, another Saturday night variety show 천하무적 야구단 (Invincible Baseball Team) has received 10.3% viewer rating.
