And no we’re not describing the first episode.
With the dismal ratings of MBC’s segment “We Got Married” on “Sunday Sunday Night”, the producers have created the perfect formula in raising up the ratings.
Find an idol group that has a fanbase ranging from little girls to grown men, add a “fresh idea” borrowed from a previous show, and end up with a product that can be viewed by others during the summer.
That is what “Girls Generation Horror Film Factory” is all about. You will get to see the individual personalities of the girls but also “other special skills and talents” – whatever that means.
The bulk of this show will take the girls on different missions to retrieve necessary items to film a horror movie, which will be released in the summer. Usually on any kind of “reality” show, each person has a “character” assigned to them. For now, there are no assignments of characters since the producer can’t tell them apart either. So to uncover their personalities, the audience has been enlisted for feedback.
However, the first segment of the show has failed to bring in viewer ratings (3.3%). So, what happened to the fans?
