What a great concept… According to a recent interview with the six Son Dam-bi proteges, After School operates on a “free system of entering a school (making a debut) and graduating from school (dropping out or becoming solo)?? Uee was brought in on the concept that she was a new “transfer student.”

Basically, there is a prevailing possibility of rotating members if someone doesn’t pull their own weight or offer anything refreshing to the table (no freeloaders!).
Does this really sound like a good idea? I somewhat understand the desire to encourage members to contribute to develop their pop act, but with the threat of a possible fan favorites coming and going, how do the Pledis execs expect to build a strong, loyal fan base for After School?
